Now I can say I've lost a journal on a plane, a train, a dive boat and to the internet. Gorgeous, simply gorgeous.

I tend to lose things...
numerous times I have lost my journals....

The first memorable one I left on a plane that continued on to another destination after I disembarked. Miraculously enough I retrieved that journal a few short days later when I traveled to that plane's final destination city and inquired at the lost and found.

The second... well, the second was actually the first - but for a second time and this time on a train... I just hope whoever found it that time could read English and find some amusement in it.

The third... I was on the front of the dive boat on its way to another destination. It was windy. I should have known. I was asked to retrieve something and set the book and pen down on my towel. Not 10 seconds later the wind picked up the book and sent it to amuse Davey Jones in his locker.

Finally... I documented bits of my travel experiences, race adventures and last few years of my life on this live journal which some lovely soul, who must have thought he should, hacked into my journal and deleted everything then attempted to use it himself (to post his finals for some reason?). It took awhile to get it back. I wasn't too aggressive about it as I hadn't been using it SO much, but I still hoped I would be able to retrieve my entries. Alas, no dice.
And I guess I'm not ecstatic to start again. Plus life is asking me to live it busily lately and hasn't left much time to write... maybe that will change.
